Asian Recs for Claude

Ask Claude where to eat and drink in San Francisco and New York, and get places ranked by how Asian diners rate them, beside how everyone else does.

Claude.ai and Claude Desktop. Find Asian Recs in the connectors directory, or add it yourself: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the URL:

What Claude can do with it

Search places: restaurants, dessert shops, cafes and bars by city, neighborhood, cuisine, dish or distance, sorted by Asian diners' rating, by how much more Asian diners like a place than everyone else, or by how many Asian diners review it.
Place details: both ratings and the gap between them, what to order, quotes from Asian diners, Google and Yelp ratings and links.
Neighborhoods and cuisines: what is covered in each city, with counts.

All three are read-only. Rankings refresh weekly, the same as the site.

Examples

"Where should I get soup dumplings in Flushing? I want the places Asian diners rate highest."

Claude searches New York restaurants in Flushing for soup dumplings and lists them by Asian diners' rating, with each place's gap versus everyone else, what to order and a link to its page.

"Which Korean restaurants in New York do Asian diners like far more than everyone else?"

Claude sorts New York Korean restaurants by how far Asian diners' rating sits above everyone else's.

"Boba within a mile of Union Square in Manhattan?"

Claude searches New York cafes around that point and lists the closest, each with its distance and ratings.

"Tell me about Dim Sum Club in San Francisco. What should I order?"

Claude pulls the place's page: both ratings, the dishes Asian diners mention most, and a couple of their reviews.

What the numbers mean

Every number comes from public Google and Yelp reviews. Asian diners' rating is how Asian diners rate a place; everyone else is how all other diners rate the same place. "+0.4 vs others" means Asian diners like it more than the crowd does; "−0.4 vs others" means they like it less. Nothing here is about any individual reviewer. See How we rank on the site.

Coverage

San Francisco and New York only. For other cities Claude will say they aren't covered.
