“So La Boulange was acquired by Starbucks, so what? I still love the Chocolate Hazelnut croissants in the morning! They heat them up just perfectly so that the chocolate oozes on the plate. The baguettes are filling when you just need a dose of carbohydrates. The ambiance is cozy. The only thing I miss are the big leather sofa chairs that they used to have. Sigh!”

“This is a local French bakery with a nice selection of pastries and coffee. It was pretty packed when I visited on the weekend, but it's still a great spot for a small treat or a relaxing break. The coffee was decent. The croissants are just okay. I personally prefer my croissants to be very buttery and flaky. If quality is important to you, I'd go to Arsicault Bakery for croissants instead.”
