“The vegan tofu skin bao was absolutely delicious. It featured two thick layers of braised tofu skin seasoned with five-spice (五香), paired with flavorful pickled Chinese vegetables (酸菜) and plenty of fresh cilantro. This combination made for a deeply satisfying and authentic Chinese savory snack (小吃). Hands down, it's the best vegan bao/sandwich I've had in the city.”
