“A serving of wontons costs 4.25. I asked if the price had gone up recently, and the cashier said it had always been this price. I said that it was 3.50 a serving on 48th Street, and the cashier said take it or leave it. If other shops hadn't closed down, you wouldn't even have a chance to be taken advantage of!”
